Polysorbate-20:
1) Other names: Tween-20, T-20
2) Chemical name: polyoxyethylene (20) sorbic alcohol mono lauric acid ester
3) Appearance: pale yellow oiling liquid
4) It can dissolve in water, methyl alcohol, alcohol and cottonseed oil
5) Ex-factory specifications:
a) Acid value: ≤2mgKOH/g
b) Saponification value: 40 ~ 55mgKOH/g
c) Hydroxyl value: 90 ~ 110mgKOH/g
d) Water content: ≤3%
e) HLB value: 16.7
6) Application: used in cosmetics as emulsifiers, bulking agents, diffusion agents,
and stabilizing agents

Polysrbate-60:
1) Other names: Tween-60, T-60
2) Chemical name: polyoxythylene (20) sorbic alcohol mono-stearate
3) Appearance: yellow pasty
4) It can dissolve in 400°C warm water and various organic solvent, but
doesn't dissolve in oil and ethanediol
5) Ex-factory specifications:
a) Acid value: ≤3mgKOH/g
b) Sapnofication value: 81 ~ 96mgKOH/g
c) Hydroxyl value: 45 ~ 55mgKOH/g
d) Water content: ≤2%
6) Application: mainly used in PP tows as softener and finishing agent of
applying oil, and also used in food, medicines, pesticides, plastic and
cosmetics as emulsifiers

Polysorbate-80:
1) Other names: Tween-80, T-80
2) Chemical name: polyoxyethylene (20) sorbic alcohol mono oleate
3) Appearance: pale yellow to yellow, quasi-viscous fluid
4) It can dissolve in hard water, dilute acid, dilute alkali and great majority
organic solvent, but it can't dissolve in oiling
5) Ex-factory specifications:
a) Acid value: ¡Ü2mgKOH/g
b) Saponification value: 45~ 55mgKOH/g
c) Hydroxyl value: 65 ~ 80mgKOH/g
6) Application: used in medicine, food, cosmetics and textile as emulsifiers,
