Sorbitan-20:
1) Chemical name: sorbic alcohol mono lauric acid ester
2) Appearance: yellowish to sepia oiling liquid
3) Non-toxic and non-stinking
4) It can slightly dissolve in isopropyl alcohol, zellon, dimethyl benzene,
cottonseed oil, and mineral oil, but it is difficult to dissolve in water
5) It appears cream aqua after dispersing
6) Ex-factory specifications:
a) Acid value: ≤7mgKOH/g
b) Saponification: 160 ~ 175mgKOH/g
c) Hydroxyl value: 330 ~ 360mgKOH/g
d) HLB value: 8.6
7) Application: used in fields of medicine, cosmetics, and textile as water /
oil type emulsifiers, moisture agents, and lubricants

4) It has odor of fat oil
5) It doesn't dissolve in water, but can dissolve in hot oil and organic solvent
